Continuous Backups

Your data is extremely important and we do everything we can to protect it. Redundant drives take care of the reliability - but that doesn't help in a major failure, or even if you accidentally deleted the wrong file!

What are Continuous Backups?

Normal backup procedures involve moving large amounts of data to ensure all backups are recent. This could even mean copying the whole filesystem of each server daily to ensure the backups are up-to-date. This puts a tremendous amount of stress on the server and can cause your website to stop responding during this time.

Continuous backups solve this problem by only transferring the files that have been changed since the last backup. Performing the backups in this manner means there is very little extra load on the server.
